SOFIA (Bulgaria), May 21 (SeeNews) – The Bulgarian share indices ended mostly higher on Wednesday as total daily turnover decreased, bourse data indicated.
The blue-chip SOFIX index, which tracks the 15 most liquid shares on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE), edged up 0.35% to 594.61 points after ending 0.07% lower in the previous session.
The broader BGBX40, which includes the 40 most traded shares, added 0.23% to 120 point after falling 0.08% on Tuesday.
The bourse's total turnover on the regulated market fell to 988,700 levs ($691,400/505,500 euro) from 16.1 million levs in the previous trading session.
Hydraulic equipment manufacturer M+S Hydraulic [BUL:5MH] was the top SOFIX gainer, closing 4.48% higher at 15.15 levs as 50 shares changed hands.
Fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:3NB] was the top blue-chip decliner, ending 3.61% lower at 49.16 levs in a volume of 107 shares.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, was up by 0.71% to 96.97 points after rising 0.04% on Tuesday.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, fell 0.01% to 432.57 points after edging up 0.01% on Tuesday.
