December 2 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed higher on Thursday, supported by a 5.29% rise in the share price of Central Cooperative Bank (CCB) [BUL:CCB], bourse data showed.
As many as 7,730 shares in CCB traded at an average price of 0.9656 levs on the floor of the Sofia bourse on Thursday.
The blue-chip SOFIX index rose 0.50% to 619.87 points.
On the BSE's Bulgarian Enterprise Accelerator Market (BEAM) market, the initial public offering (IPO) of shares of Dronamics Capital, a company established to invest in Bulgarian cargo drone manufacturer Dronamics, was oversubscribed almost 4.5 times. Dronamics Capital raised in full the planned funding of almost 6 million levs in the IPO.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, went up 0.31% to 139.24 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, added 0.07% to 664.17 points.
Financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG] was another notable gainer among members of the SOFIX, the BGBX40 and the BGTR30. The group's shares closed 4.76% higher on Thursday.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, advanced by 0.20% to 165.37 points on the back of a 1.75% rise in Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER].
Total turnover on the BSE's main market fell to 8.5 million levs ($4.9 million/4.3 million euro) from 62.3 million levs on Wednesday.
The most traded company on Thursday was Sopharma Trading [BUL:SFT]. A total of 658,446 shares in the drug trader changed hands 0.42% higher at an average price of 4.7998 levs, generating 3.2 million levs of turnover.
