October 18 (SeeNews) - All indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) started the week on positive territory with the blue-chip index SOFIX increasing the most - by 0.66% to 578.72 points, bourse data showed on Monday.
The SOFIX was mainly supported by drug maker Sopharma [BUL:SFA] which saw its shares add 2.63% to their price. A total of 10,500 shares in Sopharma traded at an average price of 3.8808 levs on the Sofia bourse on Monday.
The BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, went up 0.59% to 133.96 points, while the BGTR30 in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, rose 0.43% to 651.41 points.
A 9.46% gain in the shares of FairPlay Properties REIT [BUL:FPP] helped the BGBX40 advance on Monday. BGTR30 was mainly backed by resort operator Albena [BUL:ALB] which saw a 3.23% increase in its share price.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, closed Monday's trading session 0.16% higher at 160.70 points, on the back of a 0.74% rise in the shares of Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER].
Total turnover on the bourse's main market edged down to 512,019 levs ($303,900/261,800 euro) on Monday from 544,067 levs on Friday.
