October 28 (SeeNews) - All indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed on positive territory on Thursday, backed by a 6.04% gain in the shares of IoT products developer Allterco [BUL:A4L].
Allterco was the top gainer among members of the blue-chip SOFIX index, the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, and the BGTR30 index in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight.
The SOFIX added 0.30% to 577.36 points. The BGBX40 gained 0.69% to 133.55 points, while the BGTR30 advanced by 0.70% to 648.56 points.
A total of 11,092 Allterco shares changed hands at an average price of 18.9225 levs on the floor of the Sofia bourse on Thursday.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, closed Thursday's trading session 0.04% higher at 160.50 points, mainly due to a 1.03% increase in the share price of Balkan and Sea Properties REIT [BUL:BSP].
Total turnover on the bourse's main market dropped to 790,209 levs ($471,700/403,900 euro) on Thursday from 2.1 million levs on Wednesday.
The most traded company on Thursday was Bulgarian Stock Exchange-Sofia [BUL:BSE] - the Sofia bourse operator itself. As many as 28,112 BSE shares traded 2.89% higher at an average price of 8.9333 levs, contributing 251,100 levs to the daily turnover.
On Wednesday, the BSE said that it dropped plans to acquire a stake in local investment company Capman and will consider other growth opportunities. Last week, the bourse operator proposed to its shareholders to approve the acquisition of up to 45% but no less than 40% interest in Capman's capital for up to 5.7 million levs in order to achieve synergy between the multilateral trading systems of the two companies.
