SOFIA (Bulgaria), September 4 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange blue-chip SOFIX index recorded a third consecutive winning session, closing 0.25% higher at 573.23 points on Wednesday.
Diversified groups Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR] and Chimimport [BUL:6C4] led gainers among blue chips, adding 1.98% and 1.68%, respectively.
At the other end of the scale, software group Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SKK] fell most among SOFIX members, dropping 3.47% to 0.695 levs.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the stock exchange in Sofia, also recorded a three-day winning streak. The index closed 0.05% higher at 112.78 points on Wednesday, backed by Stara Planina Hold and Chimimport.
The BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, lost 0.09% to 505.61 points. Sirma Group Holding led decliners among its members, followed by a 3.02% decrease in the share price of Holding Sveta Sofia [BUL:4HS].
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, fell 0.10% to 126.64 points, solely due to Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT's [BUL:5BU] 0.50% share price decrease.
Total regulated market turnover dropped further, to some 65,000 levs on Wednesday from 166,000 levs on Tuesday.
