January 13 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, recorded an all-time high closing value of 138.31 points, following a 0.57% rise on Wednesday.
The BGREIT index was supported by Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:6A6] and Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:5BU], which added 2.21% and 0.60%, respectively.
This is the fourth time the BGREIT breaks its record-high since the start of 2021.
The blue-chip SOFIX index rose 0.50% to 454.77 points on Wednesday. Lender Central Cooperative Bank (CCB) [BUL:4CF] saw the largest share price rise among SOFIX members, of 2.60%.
The SOFIX was also backed by Advance Terrafund REIT, as well as a 2.11% increase in the share price of Doverie United Holding [BUL:5DOV].
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, increased 0.25% to 103.03 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, grew 0.28% to 507.26 points.
Total daily regulated market turnover amounted to some 505,000 levs ($314,000/258,000 euro).
