September 27 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange BGREIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, set a new all time high of 127.75 points following a 0.80% rise on Friday.
The BGREIT set its previous high of 127.27 points on July 8.
The index was boosted by a 7.41% increase in the share price of Roi Property Fund REIT [BUL:RPR] and a 0.84% rise in Super Borovets Property Fund REIT [BUL:6SB] on Friday.
Diversified group Holding Varna [BUL:5V2] led gainers among blue chips, adding 3.14% to 39.4 levs. The blue-chip SOFIX index closed the session 0.16% higher at 574.60 points.
Holding Varna also led gainers among the equally-weighted BGTR30 index, which edged up 0.02% to 507.65 points on Friday.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, increased 0.23% to 113.81 points, backed by an 8.51% jump in the share price of diversified group Synergon Holding [BUL:6S7].
Total regulated market trading turnover fell to 519,000 levs ($290,000/265,000 euro) on Friday from 841,000 levs on Thursday.
