January 15 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, broke its closing value record for a third consecutive day, bourse data shows.
The BGREIT gained 0.57% to an all-time high closing value of 139.57 points on Friday, breaking its Thursday record of 138.78 points.
The BGREIT index was supported by three of its members on Friday. Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:5BU] added 1.18%, while Balkan and Sea Properties REIT [BUL:5H4] and Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:6A6] followed with gains of 1.11% and 0.53%, respectively.
This is the sixth time the BGREIT breaks its record-high since the start of 2021.
The blue-chip SOFIX index grew 1.82% to 465.71 points on Friday, backed by an 8.57% jump in the share price of financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH]. Other notable gainers included Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR] and Doverie United Holding [BUL:5DOV], which added 6.48% and 2.52%, respectively.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, increased 1.55% to 105.10 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, advanced 0.85% to 513.84 points.
Total daily regulated market turnover amounted to 957,000 levs.
