September 20 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian digital insurance broker Boleron raised 4 million levs ($2.05 million/2.04 euro million) in its latest funding round to support its planned expansion, business daily Capital reported.
The financing was led by Bulgarian investments funds Digital SPV Holding and ImVentures II, Capital said on Monday. Existing investors MFG Invest, New Vision 3 and Eleven Ventures also participated.
The latest financing brings the total investments in the company to about 8 million levs.
Boleron plans to use the funding to increase its staff, expand into foreign markets and implement new technologies.
Established in 2020, Boleron offers a portfolio of digital insurance products, including mountain insurance, travel insurance, extreme sports insurance, third party liability insurance and property insurance among others.
