February 20 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian software developer Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SKK] said on Monday it registered a unit in Albania on February 17.
The new company, Sirma SHA, is a Tirana-based subsidiary of Sirma USA Inc and has a registered capital of 3.5 million leks ($27,380/25,770 euro), Sirma Group Holding said in a filing to the Sofia bourse.
The Albanian unit’s activities will include design, development, marketing, testing and maintenance of software products and integrated solutions.
In January, Sirma Group Holding announced it would hike the capital of its Sofia-based subsidiary, Ontotext, by 977,000 levs.
Sirma Group Holding, founded in 1992 simultaneously in Bulgaria and Canada, employs more than 300 and operates on five continents. The company is active in semantic technology, mobile applications, enterprise resource planning, business intelligence, electronic government, financial and banking services.
