July 13 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Commission for Protection of Competition (CPC) said that security services provider SOT is seeking its approval to acquire 100% interest in local peer Vip Sod.
The transaction is expected to influence the local market for signaling and security services, the competition regulator said in a noticestatement last week.

Interested parties have until July 16 to file with the competition authority their statements regarding the deal, the CPC said.
According to commercial register data, Sofia-based Vip Sod is a wholly-owned unit of local Security Investment Holding.
SOT is a subsidiary of Sectron, an importer of technical security and protection systems, according to information published on its website.
SOT, registered in 1994, provides security alarm services, physical guarding of property, and specialised security, i.e. guarding of valuables and cargo, personal protection and guarding of mass events. It also designs, monitors and maintains all kinds of technical security systems, according to its website.
