January 19 (SeeNews) - Around one-third of enterprises in Bulgaria and Romania used social media in 2017, which is among the lowest shares in the EU, Eurostat said on Friday.
Some 34% of businesses in Bulgaria and 35% in Romania used social media in 2017, Eurostat data showed.
Just two other EU member states recorded a lower share in 2017 - Latvia and Poland, with 30% and 27%, respectively.
Among EU member states from Southeast Europe, Slovenia posted the highest share of enterprises who use social media, of 47%. In Slovenia, 45% of businesses used social media in 2017.
The EU average in 2017 was 47%.
