January 15 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian real estate investment trust (REIT) Advance Terrafund [BUL:6A6] said on Monday it bought 442.5 ha of farmland at an average price of 4,264 euro ($5,234) per ha last year.
In 2017, the company sold 992 ha of agricultural land at an average price of 6,155 euro per ha and signed deals for the deferred sale of 659.7 ha for 6,882 euro per ha, Advance Terrafund said in a bourse filing.
In addition, the company finalised the sale of 14.6 ha at a price of 7,669 euro per ha and 47.2 ha for 7,414 euro per ha under two financial lease contracts from 2015.
In December alone, the REIT bought 38.5 ha of agricultural land and sold 67.2 ha.
As at 11:20 CET on Monday, Advance Terrafund shares traded 0.91% higher at 2.22 levs.
