March 14 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's National Railway Infrastructure Company (NRIC) said on Tuesday that it has launched a 15.46 million levs ($8.46 million/7.9 million euro) tender for the delivery of seven multifunctional hydraulic excavators.
The excavators are needed for the construction and maintenance of railway infrastructure, NRIC said in a notice published in the public procurement register.
Offers for the supply, commissioning and maintenance of the excavators will be accepted by April 21.
In a separate notice, NRIC announced another tender with an estimated value of 11.2 million levs for the delivery of railway switches. The scope of the tender covers the supply of railway switches, electric switch turning devices, switch parts and fasteners, as well as initial maintenance and final adjustments of the railway switches.
Bids can be submitted by April 10.
