SOFIA (Bulgaria), February 14 (SeeNews) – Bulgaria’s financial regulator said it has approved the prospectus of Bulgarian Private Equity Fund [BUL:BPT] for a capital increase to 8.2 million levs ($4.43 million/4.19 million euro) from 2.05 million levs through a new share issue.
The company will issue 6.15 million shares with a nominal value of 1 lev each, equal to their sale price, the Financial Supervision Commission (FSC) announced on Monday.
In December 2016, the company said it would use the proceeds from the capital hike to put together a portfolio of stocks of companies in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, real estate, banking and non-banking financial sectors.
The capital increase will be considered successful if at least 500,000 new shares are subscribed for and paid for, Bulgarian Private Equity Fund said in the prospectus.
Bulgaria’s Capman will act as investment intermediary in the capital hike.
