June 11 (SeeNews) - State-owned postal services company Bulgarian Posts said on Thursday that it has awarded a four-year 60 million levs ($34.9 million/30.7 million euro) contract for the distribution of periodicals to local security services company VIP Security.
The contract was signed on June 1, Bulgarian Posts said in a notice.
VIP Security submitted the sole bid in the tender for the contract.
Last month, Bulgaria's government tasked Bulgarian Posts with the distribution of periodicals for the next 10 years, saying this will support media pluralism and freedom of speech.
