March 17 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Outsourcing Association (BOA) said on Friday it appointed Stanimir Nikolov as its new board chairman for a two-year term.
"In the next two years BOA will focus its efforts in three major main development fields – investment in quality education [...]; we will work for promoting Bulgaria not only as a leading business and outsourcing destination but will put our effort in fostering our country’s image as a good place to work and live in [...] and we will work for the expansion of the association in Southeastern Europe," Nikolov said in a statement.
Stanimir Nikolov has 20 years of management experience in the outsourcing business. He is a director of software company EPAM Systems Bulgaria and has an experience in strategic consulting, process improvement, technological activation and outsourcing services.
BOA latest data shows that the outsourcing sector in Bulgaria employed over 46,000 at the end of 2016, as more than 26% of the industry workforce was employed by the member companies of the association.
BОA was established in 2012 and unites the efforts of companies and organization in the sector with the aim to increase competitiveness in the field and create additional conditions for increasing the number of foreign investors and development of good business practices.
