November 29 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian medical consumables producer Etropal [BUL:5EO] said that its net profit more than doubled to 44,000 ($25,600/22,500 euro) in the first nine months of the year.
The company’s revenue rose by 36.4% to 6.5 million levs, Etropal said in an interim financial statement on Wednesday.
The company's expenses increased by 36% to 6.4 million levs, mostly due to materials costs.
Etropal, part of diversified group Synthetica, produces syringes, needles and other disposable hospital items. It is the only producer of consumables for hemodialysis in Bulgaria.
The company’s shares closed 9% higher at 5.45 levs on Wednesday.
