November 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian honey-based products producer Mellifera applied for an initial public offering (IPO) on the BEAM growth market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, seeking to raise up to 2.01 million levs ($1.06 million/1.03 million euro), the bourse operator said.
Mellifera plans to offer up to 456,500 shares of 1 lev in par value and an issue price of 4.40 levs apiece, the BSE said in a statement on Tuesday.

Bulgarian asset manager Ug Market will act as advisor on the deal.
Mellifera is offering honey-based products to provide natural energy boost mainly to people active in sport. In addition to honey, the company uses additional ingredients such as guarana, matcha tea and others. The firm is already marketing a number of products, including MelliGEL, MelliTONIC and others.
