June 7 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian drug trader Sting said that its consolidated net profit rose to 1.4 million levs ($810,000/716,000 euro) in 2018 from 237,000 levs in 2017 following an increase in revenue.
The company's total revenue grew to 567.8 million levs last year from 531.3 million levs in 2017, Sting said in an annual financial statement.
Cost of goods sold rose to 539.6 million levs in 2018 from 505.9 million levs the year before, while personnel costs increased to 17.4 million levs from 16.0 million levs a year earlier.
Net financial losses fell to 1.1 million levs last year from 1.5 million levs in 2017.
The drug trader's assets edged down to 109.9 million levs at the end of 2018 from 112.4 million levs a year earlier.
