October 1 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian blue-chip drug maker Sopharma said on Monday it plans to float its shares on the Warsaw Stock Exchange at a yet unspecified date.
In case of successful listing Sopharma will be the first Bulgarian company whose shares are traded on a foreign bourse.

The drug maker said in a statement that it has mandated its CEO Ognian Donev to take the necessary action to list the company shares on the stock exchange in Warsaw. It did not elaborate.
Sopharma officials were not immediately available to provide further details.
Shares in Sopharama, part of SOFIX index tracking the 17 blue-chip stocks on bourse in Sofia, rose 4.3% to 8.3 levs ($6.05/4.25 euro) on Monday.
