February 1 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian drug maker Unipharm said on Wednesday its parent company Sopharma has increased its buyout offer for the remaining 22.37% it does not already own in Unipharm to 4.35 levs ($2.4/2.2 euro) per share.
The offer for the 1,342,234 shares was submitted by Sopharma on Wednesday, Unipharm said in a bourse filing.

On January 16, the Bulgarian financial regulator said it has temporarily banned Sopharma's buyout offer.
In December, Sopharma increased its stake in Unipharm by acquiring a further 8.87%.
Sopharma [BUL:3JR] closed 3.41% lower at 3.25 levs on Monday as 10,994 of the company’s shares changed hands on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
