October 20 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian blue-chip drug maker Sopharma said on Wednesday it has increased its stake in local peer Unipharm to 31.25%.
Sopharma's plans to raise its stake in Unipharm were backed by its shareholders in June, Sopharma said in a statement with the Bulgarian Stock Exchange's information service, X3 News.

The acquisition costs were not disclosed.
Approached for comment by SeeNews, Sopharma declined to provide information on its Unipharm holdings prior to the latest transactions.
Sopharma (www.sopharma.bg) lost 0.28% to close at 3.9 levs in a volume of 11,250 shares on the Sofia bourse on Wednesday, while Unipharm ended flat at 6.6 levs as 300,000 shares changed hands.
