April 7 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Development Bank (BDB) said on Tuesday that it has launched a new programme in support of startup companies and microenterprises affected by the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
Under the programme, BDB's unit MFI JOBS will grant working capital loans and lines of credit of up to 48,800 levs ($27,100/25,000 euro) with a two-year grace period, the BDB said in a statement.
The working capital loans will have a term of up to three years, while the lines of credit will have a term of up to five years.
Companies from the retail, transport, hospitality, tourism, private pre-school education, entertainment, sports, and event planning industries will be eligible to apply for loans under the programme.
The programme is guaranteed by the European Investment Fund (EIF).
