SOFIA (Bulgaria), August 26 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian car battery manufacturer MonBat [BUL:5MB] said its consolidated pre-tax profit rose by an annual 12.3% to 16.48 million levs ($9.7 million/8.42 million euro) in the first seven months of the year.
Consolidated net sales revenues rose 13.7% to 135.8 million levs in the January-July period, MonBat said in a bourse filing on Wednesday.

In July alone, the company's consolidated pre-tax profit dropped by an annual 48.3% to 1.48 million levs. Consolidated net sales revenues added 29.9% to 21.3 million levs.
MonBat operates four plants for manufacturing and recycling of lead-acid batteries, diodes and light-emitting diode luminaires.
