SOFIA (Bulgaria), July 31 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian car battery manufacturer MonBat [BUL:5MB] said its net profit rose by 8% to 9.4 million levs ($5.25 million/4.8 million euro) in the first half of 2015.
Consolidated net sales revenues rose 18% to 132.6 million levs in the January-June period, MonBat said in a bourse filing on Thursday.
The company's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounted to 12.4 million levs through June, up by 5.7%.
MonBat operates four plants for manufacturing and recycling of lead-acid batteries, diodes and light-emitting diode luminaires.
