June 21 (SeeNews) - All indices on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed in positive territory on Tuesday, with the blue-chip SOFIX advancing 0.57% to 616.25 points, bourse data showed.
IoT products maker Allterco [BUL:A4L] and Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:CCB] were the two top SOFIX gainers. Allterco added 2.5% to 18.45 levs, while CCB closed 2.44% higher at 1.68 levs in a trading volume of 19,600 shares.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, went up the most on Tuesday, by 0.66% to 144.42 points, helped by a 13.64% jump in poultry producer Gradus [BUL:GR6] to 1.50 levs with 44,071 shares traded and a 10.71% rise in Fairplay Properties [BUL:FPP] to 0.77 levs with 11,825 shares bought and sold.
Earlier in the day, Gradus announced that its shareholders have approved the proposal to distribute a total dividend of 5 million levs ($2.7 million/2.55 million euro) for 2021, along with a further dividend of roughly 5 million levs to come from majority-owned subsidiary Gradus-98.
Buoyed by the gains in Gradus and Allterco, the BGTR30 index, under which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, increased by 0.50% to 740.03 points.
The BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, edged up by 0.31% to 179.13 points, as Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF] rose 0.87% to 2.32 levs and Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] gained 0.69% to 2.93 levs in a trading volume of 18,599 shares.
Turnover on the BSE's main market jumped to 2.38 million levs on Tuesday from 543,178 levs on Monday.
The most traded stock was Tchaikapharma High Quality Medicines [BUL:THQM], which generated close to 1.49 million as 96,507 shares changed hands at an average price of 15.40 levs.
