November 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian bottle cap manufacturer Herti [BUL:HTV] said that its consolidated net profit fell to 561,000 levs ($326,000/287,000 euro) in the January-September period of 2018 from 726,000 levs in the same period of last year.
The company's operating revenue edged down 31.4 million levs in the first nine months of the year from 32.1 million levs in the comparable period of 2017, Herti said in an interim financial statement on Thursday.
Operating expenses fell to 30.8 million levs in the review period from 31.3 million levs a year earlier, due to a decrease in expenses for materials.
Earlier this year, Herti completed its investment project for a new administrative building, storage building and waste water treatment plant (WWTP).
Established in 1993, Herti produces over 1 billion bottle caps per year.
