October 6 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip SOFIX was the only one of the four main indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) to rise on Thursday, ticking up by 0.08% to 582.54 points.
The top gainer was diversified group Chimimport [BUL:CHIM], which added 3.9% to 0.80 levs with 7,000 shares traded. Furthermore, IoT products maker Allterco [BUL:A4L] gained 1.75% to 17.40 levs after it reported 49.8% year-on-year growth in nine-month sales on Wednesday.
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the bourse's 40 most traded shares, dipped by 0.48% to 134.18 points on Thursday due to a 6.43% drop in Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH] to 8 levs and a 5.26% decrease in Industrial Holding Bulgaria [IHB] to 1.80 levs.
The fall in both companies' share prices also weighed on the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The index lost 0.41%, closing at 701.92 points.
The BGREIT index closed flat at 178.14 points after all seven real estate investment trusts it tracks showed no share price changes.
Total turnover on the BSE's main market rose to 207,783 levs ($104,453/106,238 euro) on Thursday from 166,585 levs on Wednesday.
The most most traded stock was Allterco [BUL:A4L], generating a turnover of 39,655 levs with 2,279 shares traded.
