April 27 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian banks' gross non-performing loans (NPLs) fell by 3.1% quarter-on-quarter to 5.7 billion levs ($3.5 billion/2.9 billion euro) at the end of 2020, the central bank said on Tuesday.
The ratio of NPLs in the credit portfolio fell to 8.22% at the end of December 2020 from 8.63% at the end of September 2020, the central bank said in a quarterly report.
Net NPLs decreased by 3.3% on a quarterly comparison basis to 3.1 billion levs at the end of 2020.
Total accumulated impairment on loans and advances fell by 3.6% quarter-on-quarter to 3.6 billion levs at the end of last year.
