March 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian-American Credit Bank (BACB) [BUL:5BN] said on Friday its consolidated net profit rose to 7.9 million levs ($5.0 million/4.0 million euro) in 2017, from 6.0 million levs the year before.
The lender's net interest income increased to 28.8 million levs last year from 26.5 million levs in 2016, BACB said in an audited consolidated annual financial statement.
BACB's net fee and commission income grew to 5.8 million levs in 2017, compared to 5.3 million levs in 2016.
Administrative expenses rose to 23.3 million levs from 21.4 million levs.
BACB was the 17th largest lender in terms of assets in Bulgaria as of end-January, according to data from the country's central bank.
