July 12 (SeeNews) - Sofia-based Bulgarian-American Credit Bank (BACB) [BUL:5BN] said on Wednesday it has appointed Iliyan Georgiev as its new chief executive officer.
Georgiev has been a member of the board of directors of Bulgarian-American Credit Bank since January 2012 and since September 2013 he has been working as an executive director at the bank, BACB said in a statement.
From 2011, until his appointment as CEO, Georgiev was in charge of the Credit Department at the bank.
BACB shares closed 2.16% higher at 6.851 levs on Tuesday on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange. The company's shares did not trade on Wednesday as of 11:10 CET.
