July 5 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Air Traffic Services Authority (BULATSA) said it has opened a security operations centre - a project co-financed by the European Commission.
The centre comes as a complete solution that will provide security against cyber threats to its IT infrastructure, BULATSA said in a statement last week.
It also delivers safety solutions to the air traffic service centres in Varna, Bourgas, Plovdiv and Gorna Oryahovitsa.
The platform comprises processes, individuals and technologies taking part in the network control and monitoring, incident response, research of and active search for cyber threats.
BULATSA provides air navigation services in the controlled civil airspace of Bulgaria.
