September 8 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian agricultural sector will receive funding of nearly 1 billion levs ($510.7 million/511.3 million euro) under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP), caretaker deputy minister of agriculture Georgi Sabev said.
The plan, which includes funding from the European Commission and 50% co-financing by the state, should help the sector become more competitive in the current challenging environment, Sabev said in a press release.

The ministry aims to start receiving applications by the beginning of 2023 and have 70% of the funds budgeted in by the end of the same year.
