August 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) said on Thursday that it has launched the overhaul of a nine kilometre-long section of the second-class Kubrat-Tutrakan road, in northeastern part of the country.
Investment in the project tops 7.3 million levs ($4.1 million/3.7 million euro), provided by RIA from its own funds, the government agency said in a statement.
The project envisages repairs of the pavement, laying down of new markings, installation of road containment systems as well as new road signs.
The section, which is already being repaired, is the main road connection between the Kubrat municipality and regional centre Razgrad.
