June 24 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) said on Monday that it has signed a 19.8 million levs ($11.5 million/10.1 million euro) contract for maintenance of the road network in the Blagoevgrad region, in southwestern Bulgaria, with a tie-up comprising several local companies.
The tie-up consists of Groma Hold, Vodno Stroitelstvo - Blagoevgrad and BKS, RIA said in a notice.
The contract, which envisages maintenance of some 680 km of roads, was signed on June 14.
The tie-up submitted the only offer in the public procurement procedure for awarding the contract.
According to registry agency data, Groma Hold owns a 40% stake in the tie-up, followed by BKS and Vodno Stroitelstvo - Blagoevgrad with stakes of 36.11% and 23.89%, respectively.
