* Friday, October 26 - Sofia: Bulgarian Transport Ministry assigns two contracts to Spanish Fomento De Construcciones Y Contratas (FCC) for the construction of road and rail accesses to a future bridge over the Danube river. The bridge, to connect the Bulgarian town of Vidin with Romania's Calafat, will become part of EU-defined Transport Corridor IV that links Dresden and Istanbul. (0700 GMT)
