SOFIA (Bulgaria), June 26 (SeeNews) – The Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH), a mega-structure incorporating the assets of state-owned energy companies, said it reshuffled the management of the National Electricity Company (NEK), the Kozloduy nuclear power plant and Maritsa Iztok mining company.
Sava Savov will take over from Borislav Borisov as chairman of NEK's board of directors, BEH said in a statement posted on its website on Tuesday.
Ivan Genov, Aleksandar Nikolov and Georgi Hristozov were appointed members of the Kozloduy plant's board of directors, replacing Valentin Nikolov, Teodor Shopov and Valentin Gruev, it added.
Stanimir Kazlachev is the new executive director of Maritsa Iztok mining company, succeeding Teodor Drebov.
BEH also made changes in the board of directors of thermal power plant Maritsa East 2, replacing Georgi Hristozov with Mihail Mitkov.
BEH (www.bgenh.bg) incorporates assets of Bulgaria's sole nuclear power plant Kozloduy, gas monopoly Bulgargaz, gas transmission system operator Bulgartransgaz, telecommunications operator Bulgartel, the National Electricity Company and its wholly-owned system operator Electricity System Operator, coal-fired power plant Maritsa East 2 and the Maritsa East coal mines.
