December 19 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Food Safety Agency said on Wednesday that it established a case of bird flu in a farm in the village of Kosovo, in northwestern Bulgaria, on December 17.
The affected birds are hens, pheasants and pigeons, the agency said in a statement.

All birds in the farm will be culled.
The agency has set up a three-kilometre prevention zone and a ten-kilometre surveillance zone around the farm.
