April 20 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria recorded employment growth of 3.6 percentage points last year, the highest rate of increase among EU member states, Eurostat said on Friday.
The country's employment rate of people aged 20 to 64 rose to 71.3% in 2017, from 67.7% in 2016, the bloc's statistical office said in a report.
The lowest employment rate was observed in Greece, of 57.8%, while Sweden posted the highest one (81.8%).
Croatia was the only country in the Southeast Europe, which already achieved its Europe 2020 employment target of 62.9% in 2017.
