SOFIA (Bulgaria), January 10 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria recorded the largest year-on-year decrease in jobless rate in November among EU member states for which data is available - to 3.7% from 4.8%, Eurostat said.

Croatia followed, as its unemployment rate fell to 6.5% from 7.5% in November 2018, Eurostat data showed on Thursday. 

Almost all EU member states in Southeast Europe (SEE) recorded unemployment rates below the EU average of 6.3% in November, except Croatia.

In Romania, the unemployment rate was the lowest among EU member states in SEE, at 4.0% at the end of November.

Data for Greece is unavailable for the months of October and November, Eurostat said. In September 2019, Greece posted the highest jobless rate in the EU - 16.8%, yet the percentage was lower than the rate of 18.8% recorded a year earlier.
