SOFIA (Bulgaria), November 8 (SeeNews) – Bulgaria's National Railway Infrastructure Company (NRIC) said it has opened a 170.5 million levs ($101.0 million/87.1 million euro) tender for the modernisation of a railway section connecting Sofia to the town of Voluyak, in the country’s southwest.
The tender envisages the construction of a new train station, as well as the reconstruction of Voluyak train station, a notice published on the website of the Public Procurement Agency on Monday indicated.
Works on the project must be completed within three and a half years.
Bids will be ranked based on price and quality criteria.
