July 5 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) said on Friday it has opened a 459.9 million levs ($264.9 million/235.1 million euro) tender for the reconstruction of a 55 km long stretch of the first-class road connecting the cities of Vidin and Botevgrad.
The road construction project is divided into three lots, where the first lot has the highest estimated value of 250.7 million levs, RIA said in a statement.
The tender envisages construction works, supply of the construction materials and maintenance of the road section in nortwestern Bulgaria.
Bids in the tender will be ranked based on price with 60% weight and technical criteria with 40%.The deadline for submitting offers is August 12.
The project should be completed within 24 to 30 months.
