April 11 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) said that it is inviting bids under two tenders worth a total of about 219.3 million levs ($122.4 million/112.1 million euro) for repair works on some 200 kilometres of roads.
The call for proposals involves the overhaul of 11 road sections located in the regions of Varna, Burgas, Stara Zagora, Haskovo, Vidin and Smolyan, the government agency said in a notice on Sunday.
The first tender, which is divided into five lots, relates to the repair of 123.5 kms of roads and is estimated to be worth about 135.9 million levs in total.
The second public procurement procedure, which is made up of six lots, will see to the overhaul of 76.2 kms of roads and is estimated to be worth 83.4 million levs.
The deadline for submission of the bids is May 12.
The RIA said that it will extend the warranty for the road repair works to six years from three.
