April 16 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's road agency said on Tuesday it has launched a 15.5 million levs ($8.9/7.9 million euro) tender for the technical design and construction of local lanes of the road linking the second largest city of Plovdiv to Asenovgrad.
The road is the main transport link of Plovdiv to the city's airport and the industrial zone around the city and the construction of local lanes will provide safer access to and from nearby industrial sites as well as faster access to Trakia motorway, the government's Road Infrastructure Agency said in a statement.
The deadline for submitting offers in the tender is May 20.
