Bulgaria has lowest petrol, diesel prices in EU – data service

SOFIA (Bulgaria), February 6 (SeeNews) – Petrol prices in Bulgaria, which stood at approximately $1.13 (1.05 euro) per litre as of January 30, were the lowest among all EU member states, online data service GlobalPetrolPrices.com said.

Bulgaria also posted the lowest diesel prices in the EU, on par with Romania, at $1.14 per litre, the online data service said in its January monthly report.

Moldova had the lowest petrol prices in the region of Southeastern Europe (SEE), of $0.90 per litre, followed by Bosnia and Herzegovina with prices of $1.02 per litre.

Moldova also had the lowest diesel prices in the SEE region, of $0.77 per litre.

Croatia had the highest petrol prices in the SEE region, of $1.41 per litre, while Albania had the highest diesel prices, of $1.33.
