July 26 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria has harvested 4.1 million tonnes of wheat from this year's crop as of July 19 - 8.3% less than a year earlier, the agriculture ministry said.
Wheat was collected from 843,041 hectares, or 74% of the total area sown with wheat, by July 19, the ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.

The harvested area was 1.5% lower compared to the year-ago figure.
Bulgaria has also harvested 481,686 tonnes of barley from 109,863 hectares as of July 19.
The harvested area was 95% of the total barley-sown area, while the collected volume was 20.2% lower than a year earlier.
