May 31 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's caretaker government said on Wednesday that it granted a 35-year concession for the Kolartsi limestone deposit to local construction company Bulstone.
Varna-based Bulstone intends to invest over 199,000 levs ($109,317/101,747 euro) in mining activities at the site for the term of the concession, the government said in a statement following its weekly meeting.
The company is expected to pay to the state and the municipality of Tervel, in which the deposit is located, more than 1.2 million levs over the concession term.
Bulstone, founded in 1994, provides several services, including facing and flooring design and manufacturing of marble, granite, onyx, travertine and limestone products, among others.
