April 7 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria has decided to ease some of the restrictions imposed over the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic for local agriculture producers, in order to support their operations during the crisis, the health ministry said.
According to an order issued by health minister Kiril Ananiev, agriculture producers can have access now to agricultural lands while local cooperative and farmers' markets can re-open to enable producers to sell their output, the ministry said in a statement on Monday.

Agriculture producers will be obliged to operate under stricter hygienic rules and to introduce safe working conditions in the context of the pandemic.
As of Tuesday, there are 565 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria, including 22 deaths related to the infectious disease as well as 42 recoveries.
Last week, Bulgaria's parliament approved a government's proposal to extend the national state of emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic by a month until May 13.
