SOFIA (Bulgaria), February 19 (SeeNews) – Bulgaria has discontinued the procedure for granting a licence for oil and gas exploration in Block 1-23 Sveta Marina in the Black sea, the government said on Wednesday.
The tender, which was opened in January last year, attracted no bidders, the government said in a statement following a regular weekly meeting.
The license was set for a period of five years and would cover a 1,612 square kilometre area in the country’s exclusive economic zone in the Black Sea.
